Monthly Motivation: Small Acts of Kindness
We have one faithful volunteer who comes all bundled up every shift morning to pick up trash in our parking lot.

At HCC we’re happy to announce the ringing of wedding bells!
Last month one of our favorite families came in to shop. Their 4-year-old boy stormed through our front door, yelling with excitement, “We’re here, we’re here!”
Last month this little girl, Luna, was having a wonderful time playing in our kids’ play corner while mom and grandma shopped for the family’s groceries.
We have FEED1 partners of all ages; some live in Arizona and some in other states; and there are even some who once experienced hunger themselves and now are able to “pay it forward”.
One sweet lady has become a dear friend after visiting us monthly for over two years. Every visit, before she leaves HCC, she expresses how thankful she is.
Last month a couple came in to donate a carload of brand-new hygiene and food items and gently used clothing their kids had outgrown.
Two months ago, a little girl visited HCC Maryvale and immediately ran to tell Paul, the manager, her big news, “It’s my birthday today!”
Recently an expecting mom visited HCC worried because she didn’t have all the necessary newborn items that she had been trying to save up to purchase.
We continue to be beyond grateful for each and every volunteer who are answering our S.O.S. calls for help.
