HCC had a blast this summer welcoming Serving SPROUTS (Small People Reaching Out Unselfishly To Serve), our kids-feeding-kids program for Power Hours! What is a Power Hour? It’s when each HCC location hosts off hours work sessions for small groups of SPROUTS and their families and friends ensuring our centers are ready to go when we open. SPROUTS sorted donated clothing, stocked our mini-mart shelves, sorted school supply donations, filled backpacks, and cleaned our centers. SPROUTS Power Hours are a great way to introduce friends who have kids of younger ages to HCC’s outreach, which allows families to serve together.
