Each month we will be turning the spotlight on one of our amazing SPROUTS. HCC’s Serving SPROUTS (Small People Reaching Unselfishly To Serve) kids-feeding-kids program aims to come alongside parents and grandparents, planting seeds of service in the hearts of kiddos. Each SPROUT family earns $28 a month to feed hungry kids in their community. In addition, SPROUTS host several hands-on serving opportunities throughout the year for the entire family to participate in.
This month we’d like to highlight Graham Berryman, a 6-year-old who became a SPROUT two months ago. Graham has fed two families, volunteered during a Saturday shift with his mom at our Phoenix location and created a handmade blanket for the SPROUTS at-home summer outreach project. Graham’s parents and sister are very proud of his hard work, amazing energy and desire to give back. A first grader at Cheyenne Traditional School, Graham also loves to ride his bike, swim and go to the movies.
Great job serving other kids this month, Graham! Keep up the good work!
