Get ready all you KIDS! Your time has come as we invite you to partner with the HCC and become a member of our Serving S.P.R.O.U.T.S Program. This kid-friendly and focused program is designed to come alongside moms and dads across the valley teaching their family the importance of servanthood, community, and giving.
Serving S.P.R.O.U.T.S stands for “Small People Reaching Out Unselfishly To Serve,” this program invites kids of all ages to commit to becoming at FEED 1 partner with the HCC, which means donating $28.00 a month to feed one family in our community. Our S.P.R.O.U.T.S. will have to come up with unique work jobs, serving tasks, and ways to earn that $28.00 a dollars a month and then report back to the HCC how they earned their giving. Families can combine together and earn the $28.00 dollars as a group, or kids can choose to take on an individual FEED 1 sponsorship. The key aspect is teaching our youth the importance of taking the focus off of themselves and onto someone else. We will hold quarterly open houses at the Harvest Compassion Center to celebrate our S.P.R.O.U.T.S job well done, give tours, and hand out awards to our top earners!
