Last month we launched our Serving S.P.R.O.U.T.S Kids Program, partnering with the Harvest Compassion Center, and we are excited to announce the overwhelming response! At our first SPROUT open house we had 17 kids commit to becoming brand new S.P.R.O.U.T.S, ‘Small People Reaching out Unselfishly To Serve!’ We also were fortunate to launch this summer program at Harvest Bible Chapel Glendale with another 14 kids making that promise. Overall, we have now welcomed 31 new SPROUTS into the HCC family, each committing to earn individually or as a family $28.00 dollars a month to feed other kids in the Valley. The HCC receives that $28.00 dollars and is able to stretch it much farther with our agency partners, truly allowing one SPROUT to feed one family a month!
“Our kids are super excited about earning money to feed others, and as a parent I’m thrilled to partner with the HCC as together we teach our SPROUTS how they can make a difference!” replied one SPROUT mom. The mission behind our Serving SPROUTS program is to educate a generation of kids who know the importance of hard work, giving, serving others.
