This month’s monthly motivation involves an HCC volunteer who was recently diagnosed with a few tumors growing on the lining of his stomach. The tumors were two inches long with the potential to grow larger and be a real concern. Doctors communicated to our volunteer how serious these tumors could be, possibly life threatening if left untreated and that once the tumors reach five inches or more in size, there is less doctors can do. The volunteer was experiencing no other side effects or symptoms and was confident that God could heal him. Against doctors’ advice he did nothing, except ask the doctors to join him in prayer that the tumors would disappear. Fast forward several months, after the volunteer’s most recent scans the doctors were very confused…the tumors were nowhere to be found!
