Meet, Kora and her daughter Emma. Kora randomly dropped in at HCC last month asking for one item only, baby formula. HCCs baby formula inventory often is low and filled with various types of formula that may not meet the needs of every baby who visits. On this day, Kora was seeking just enough baby formula to make it through the weekend until payday the following week. HCC staff welcomed Kora to walk over to the baby section and see what types of baby formula were on hand however, prepared her that a formula match was unlikely. As we walked Kora and Emma over, Kora’s eyes lit up as she immediately recognized the label of the very specific type and brand little Emma needed! Kora was so thankful for the short term relief and generosity of HCC.
