SVP Invites the Harvest Compassion Center into Fast Pitch Competition!
Social Venture Partners is a global network of local partners connecting passion with purpose within the Phoenix community. They take an innovative approach to philanthropy in the Valley, leveraging dollars, networks, and professional skills to support their investees. In working together they help their investees increase their capacity to deliver positive social impact in and around the Valley as well as, nationwide.
One way SVP is reaching out to non-profits within the Valley is through their Fast Pitch Program. Fast Pitch is a two month program and competition for innovative non-profits, allowing charities to communicate their story powerfully while connecting them with business leaders who can help create significant community impact. This year the Harvest Compassion Center was chosen as a semi-finalist contestant with Executive Director, Nicolee Thompson, competing and participating in their two month program. “I’ve already learned numerous strategies that will help me effectively tell others about the mission, goals, and needs of the HCC. We are half way through the program and I look forward to continuing to develop the HCC story as well as connect with many other standout non-profits in Phoenix.”
SVP Fast Pitch program will conclude on Tuesday, March 1st with the final 8 non-profits competing for top prize grant funding totally over $25,000 at the Scottsdale Center of the Performing Arts.
