Thank you to all who came out and supported this year’s HCC Striking Out Hunger bowling event this past March 2 at Let It Roll & Bowl Entertainment! What happens when bowling teams named Spare Wars, Dream Team, Spare Master, the Alley Cats, Livin’ On A Spare and I Can’t Believe It’s Not Gutter come together? One amazing afternoon bringing together kids and adults of all ages, all with the common goal to feed and clothe our neighbors in need!
In total HCC had over 26 bowling teams come out to enjoy a fun afternoon of bowling and food as together we raised almost $45,000 to feed families in our local communities! Once again we were blown away by the love and support of HCC partners and friends, and we welcomed many brand-new faces inviting them to be a part of HCC’s outreach. “My family and I had a blast at the HCC’s bowling event- it was my kid’s first time bowling! Our entire bowling team was thrilled to support not only this event but all the efforts that HCC performs daily!” commented an HCC bowler.
All of us at HCC want to thank the Lord for providing a fun, safe afternoon and the funds raised which will help keep HCC Phoenix and HCC Maryvale’s shelves fully stocked through the summer months when giving tends to be down.
