Last month HCC was honored to work with Corey Peters of the Arizona Cardinals, along with fellow teammates Jordan Phillips, Miles Brown, and Rashard Lawrence, to serve kids and families of South Phoenix. Corey currently hosts a weekly book club in partnership with South Pointe Elementary and South Pointe High School. As back-2-school time approached Corey aimed to serve these same families with free food, hygiene items, clothing, educational tools, and school supplies in partnership with HCC.
After the drive-through distribution morning was completed, over 300 bags of food and hygiene product and over 1,200 pieces of clothing (totaling over 8,950 pounds of product) went to serve local families! Thank you to Corey, his wife and the Arizona Cardinals organization for your continued effort to impact underserved families in the Valley!
