Unexpected Surprises!

Recently, a mother and her three young children visited Harvest Compassion Center Maryvale, and while shopping, her daughter discovered a sheet of ABC stickers on a shelf. As she picked them up and began singing the ABCs, her excitement grew even more when she learned she could take them home. During their visit, the family also received a diaper bag filled with baby essentials, generously provided by a local church.

The very next day, the mom returned, this time bringing her sister to experience HCC for the first time. As we talked, she shared something incredible: she had taken a pregnancy test after her visit and found out she was expecting, saying she had a feeling after receiving the diaper bag.

Moments like these remind us that what may seem small can carry deep meaning. At HCC, it’s not just about meeting needs, it’s about creating moments of joy, hope, and care that stay with families long after they leave.
