Last month, as we celebrated Easter, our Serving SPROUTS (Small People Reaching Out Unselfishly To Serve) kid’s program wanted to make sure other neighborhood kids experienced some Easter joy! In partnership with Bell Road Church, our Serving SPROUTS and friends donated over 1,000 filled plastic Easter eggs and helped hide them on the Saturday before Easter for a free Easter egg hunt at Palomino Community Park.
In total, our SPROUTS helped to hide almost 8,000 Easter eggs, which takes a lot longer than expected! Every minute was worth it as we watched the kids take off as fast as they could to collect their egg treasures!
