Scottsdale Christian Academy Gives Back

The Harvest Compassion Center Phoenix works with several schools around the states year-round, hosting classes in on field trips, educating kids from pre-school to senior high on the hunger crisis in and around the Phoenix area, as well as, inspiring these kids to create an action in assisting the HCC serve our community.  Scottsdale Christian Academy is one of the local schools who did just that!  SCA invited the HCC into their school to promote a week-long hygiene collection drive.  Each grade Kindergarten through 5th grade was given one hygiene item to focus on, as each class competed against each other to collect the most!  The HCC is thrilled to report these amazing students, as well as, their families blew us all away with their generosity!  Over 400 toothpaste, q-tips, shaving cream, rolls of toilet paper, baby wipes, and toothbrushes were collected.  Because of SCA’s plan of intentional giving our local community will be blessed for a couple of months with these daily essentials!  All of us at the Harvest Compassion Center Phoenix extend our sincere thanks to each student and family who donated.  For more information about Scottsdale Christian Academy please visit them at:  https://scarizona.org/
