Last month we had a new volunteer offer his ironing talents at one of our HCC locations. Yes, all three HCC locations wash, iron, fold and tag all clothing donations so our clothing boutiques are filled with quality clothing that makes anyone shopping feel amazing. Jim is our newest volunteer who loves to come in during off-shift hours and help in our clothing processing area. He often spends hours at the ironing board making sure garments look new! Jim recently arrived home after spending time ironing at HCC and told his wife, “Today I was able to iron and, as I did, I prayed over every shirt. I mostly ironed kids’ shirts today, so I prayed over every child who would receive each shirt!” Every helping hand is important to the mission at HCC and we love each volunteer who makes it all so special!
