How do you say thank you?
Every month at Harvest Compassion Centers we meet hundreds of families who are seeking our services for the very first time. There are also many HCC clients who visit us every 30 days. Some of our clients will always need extra assistance each month: families who live on fixed incomes, who are disabled or those who are full-time caregivers for grandchildren.
One sweet lady has become a dear friend after visiting us monthly for over two years. Every visit, before she leaves HCC, she expresses how thankful she is. There is another special thing that our friend does after each shopping trip … about an hour after we close, she always calls our center and again says “thank you” for serving her that day and tells us once more how she treasures the food, clothing and friendship! Gratitude in action, every single day!
