HCCs have been blessed to remain open during COVID-19. We’re so glad we have been because we get to meet amazing families like Gloria and her daughter. They revisited us last month after being away from HCC for several months. Due to COVID-19, they dropped back in for some assistance. While at check-in Gloria shared with our volunteer that seven months ago she had visited HCC for the first time and asked for prayer for her husband. He was an alcoholic who was very unkind to them both. She said that this single prayer was a turning point for she and her daughter. She told us that her husband is now clean and sober and working on becoming a stable husband and father! Gloria said, with a heart full of gratefulness, “HCC played a big part in my family’s turnaround!”
