Over a decade ago when HCC set out to provide Christmas toys to local kids, we had no idea where it would take us. Last month, once again, over 10,000 gifts were donated to HCC throughout November and December. As we began distributing toys on December 4, lines were long and twisted around our buildings. Our team grew concerned that we wouldn’t have enough toys to be able to say ‘Yes’ to every family who came to our doors. After busy shifts, our pop-up toy store shelves were often bare, with no toy options left for specific age groups. However, every single day this occurred, just hours later came a knock on our door or an email came through or a phone call was made, and toys poured in to refresh our need. God’s perfect timing and the generosity of our community allowed HCC to not let down any families who visited us last month!
