Monthly Motivation: Giving Machines

Sometimes, the simplest ideas have the biggest impact! Last holiday season, Light the World Giving Machines chose HCC as a partner for their Giving/Vending Machines located in Westgate Shopping Center in Glendale. Throughout December, we spread the word and encouraged everyone to visit the machines and support a local charity featured inside. And wow, did the community show up!

We’re thrilled to share that 882 people visited the Giving Machines and gave gifts to support HCC! Together, we raised over $19,000, which is enough to provide clothing, shoes, food, diapers, wipes, and toothbrushes for families during the summer months.

Never doubt the power of something as simple as a vending machine to make a BIG impact!
