One of our amazing HCC guests was working through some health challenges that affected her vision. During her last visit to shop for groceries, she chatted with a HCC volunteer who mentioned that her daughter was also starting to experience similar issues. After some heartfelt discussion, our guest excitedly revealed that she had an extra “white cane” and would be thrilled to pass it along to help the volunteer’s daughter! Later that week, she made a special trip just to drop off the cane, ready to bless this wonderful family. It’s truly inspiring to see our guests find such meaningful ways to give back to our volunteers. What a beautiful reminder of community spirit!
