HCC Maryvale is blessed to serve many local foster families with groceries, hygiene, baby and clothing items monthly. When kids in any family come into HCC Maryvale to shop, they instantly run over to the kids’ play corner and get busy exploring what new toys and books are there to play with and take home. One family has been coming in for several months. Their family has two biological kids of their own and three more foster kids. Every time this family comes into the HCC, they are all smiling and excited to visit their favorite “store.” On their last visit in, as they were leaving, the young boys high-fived the HCC volunteers as they said goodbye and handed them these cards. What an awesome, yet simple, act of thankfulness that these kids gave back to all those serving at HCC Maryvale!
