Mitch’s 44th Birthday!

Last month, we celebrated what would have been Mitch Swaback’s 44th birthday! As the inspiration behind HCC’s founding, Mitch’s legacy continues to impact countless lives.

For those new to our story, Mitch Swaback tragically passed away in a drowning accident in 2004. In the wake of this sudden loss, his family established Mitchell Swaback Charities, Inc., a public charity that has fully funded and operated HCC for the past 15 years.

Mitch was just 23 years old when he left this earth, but his legacy of love and service lives on. Each year on March 26, we honor his life and the lasting impact he continues to have.
