As the school year comes to an end this month for many Arizona kids, the Harvest Compassion Center would like to take a moment and say thank you to the several classes who came out this past school year to serve at the HCC! Each month brought in a new class ages ranging from pre-school to 12th grade. Each class holds their own ‘mini-food drive’ and collects items that they then bring with them and stock themselves while at the HCC. The HCC received hundreds of pounds of donations throughout the school year from the smallest of hands! While at the HCC, each class learns about the hunger issues plaguing our community, and how they can be part of the solution, no matter their age! Many parent chaperones and teachers also took part in making it possible for their kids to be there, and for that we thank you!
