Last month, we met Inez and her six grandchildren. HCC staff member, Jenni, said she was blessed to be at the center that day to meet this sweet family. Inez told Jenni that she has had custody of her six grandchildren for some time, after two of her own kids were unable to care for their children.
Jenni was chatting with the kids, and one said, “We call her mom because she is our mom. She does all the ‘mom things’ with and for us and she loves us like a mom.” Wow! We are honored to have served this sweet family and hear their story. What an amazing example of a mother’s love!
