Harvest Compassion Center provides food, clothing, items, and resources in a hope-filled environment to the underserved in the greater Phoenix area. We assist families facing various crises, such as job loss, health issues, homelessness, and more.
A tradition beginning in 2020, we host our virtual FEED1 Walk/Run event, which helps us raise funds to feed, love, and provide for children and families struggling with basic needs.
The 2023 FEED1 Walk/Run Event
We are excited to announce the upcoming 2023 FEED1 Walk/Run Event, which will take place on Saturday, October 28th. Our goal is to unite across Arizona and the entire country to raise $200,000 to feed children and families in need throughout the fall and winter. 100% of the donations raised will go directly to helping the community.
Last year’s event raised $207,788, and we aim to break that record this year, but we can only do that with your help.
Participation
We encourage you to form a team and participate! You pick the best time to get outside and go for a run, walk, hike, bike ride, swim, or however you want to get moving! Every team will receive a complimentary HCC FEED1 Walk/Run shirt, and be sure to take a selfie & post with the hashtag #FEED1 to show everyone your support!
We hope to have 70 participants and/or teams to help us reach our $200,000 goal. You can create a team or donate directly to the event at www.teamhcc.org
Sponsorship Opportunities
We have sponsorship opportunities for businesses starting at $1,000. Sponsorship contributes to the event’s success and the mission of HCC. Businesses interested in sponsoring the event can learn more by contacting Lauren Sullivan.
Mitch’s Matching Gift Monday
Mitchell Swaback Charities, Inc. is a faith-based 501©3 charitable organization that owns and operates Harvest Compassion Center. On Monday, October 23rd, we will honor Mitch’s memory by holding Mitch’s Matching Gift on Monday. All donations on this day will be double-matched by a generous sponsor, allowing us to double all funds received to help those who need it most.
We hope you can join us for this important event! Your contributions will help us clothe, feed, and love the community’s children throughout the colder months, and we cannot do it without you!
