Client Impact Story: Meet Elly

Elly recently visited our HCC Maryvale center with her mom, and from the moment they arrived, something truly special began to unfold. Our staff welcomed Elly and introduced her to the HCC Kid’s Corner. Moments later, HCC Center Assistant Stephanie noticed Elly sitting at the table, engrossed in a book. When Stephenie asked if Elly knew who the book was about, Elly’s face lit up as she answered, “Jesus,” her eyes sparkling with joy.

Elly spent the rest of her visit exploring the play area and later shopped with her mom. Afterward, she proudly showed Stephenie a new pair of black-and-white shoes, just the right size. As she left, Elly smiled and said, “Thank you” over and over to everyone she passed!
