Meeting and connecting with our HCC clients is at the heart of our mission. We get to know our clients by checking on their families, getting updates on new jobs, learning their favorite HCC products, and hearing how their kids are doing in school. Annie has been a longtime client at HCC and tends to be quiet and reserved. Last month, HCC volunteer Krista saw Annie walk in and ran right over to her. Krista told her that she always comes in looking so stylish in her summer dresses! Annie broke into a big smile, and everyone in the center could see the joy pour out of her. We love that our volunteers get to know our clients and can connect with them through a compliment.
