August 14 marks a deeply significant milestone for all of us at HCC: the 20th anniversary of the founding of Mitchell Swaback Charities, Inc., established in honor of our inspiration, Mitch, who was called home to heaven. Two decades ago this month, Mitch tragically lost his life in a drowning accident. While his passing was a profound loss for all who knew and loved him, it also became the catalyst for a movement that has touched countless lives.
As we reflect back this August, we not only remember Mitch but also thank him for the larger-than-life spirit he brought to everyone around him. It was Mitch’s endless energy and big heart for others that inspired us to embark on this journey of helping those in need in his memory.
To honor his life, we encourage you to donate $20 to provide food and hygiene items for kids this month. Mitch had a huge heart for impacting the lives of children and he spent countless hours volunteering and serving to make a difference in those kid’s lives. Thank you for honoring Mitch’s legacy as today, we remember and thank you, Mitch, for being an example that one person truly can make a HUGE impact!
