Back-to-School Reading Fun at HCC!

School may be back in full swing, but the learning fun hasn’t stopped at HCC! Recently, one of our amazing regular volunteers donated nearly 200 books from his wife, a newly retired teacher. These treasures have already sparked excitement among our young guests.

One volunteer gifted a bilingual Spanish/English book to a beaming student, adding to their growing library. Another young reader couldn’t wait to dive in—so we read her new book together in the clothing boutique while her mom shopped. She proudly took it home, ready to keep the back-to-school reading magic alive!
