Tis The Season: HCC’s 2023 Toy Drive

The holiday season is a time for giving back and sharing joy with others. This holiday season, you can make a difference in a child’s life by participating in the 10th Annual Christmas Toy Drive with Harvest Compassion Center (HCC).

Our mission is to provide food and clothing in a hope-filled environment to the underserved in the greater Phoenix area. Throughout the year, we provide food, clothing, essential items, and more for those who need a little help making ends meet. For the past decade, HCC has held a Christmas toy drive to ensure children in low-income households can experience the magic of the holidays.

Spreading Cheer With the 2023 Christmas Toy Drive

Last year, HCC provided over 2,500 kids with gifts for the holidays, all of those donated by our generous community.

This year, we will be collecting new, unwrapped toys from November 1st to December 22nd at all HCC locations

While we need gifts for all ages, please consider donating gifts for older children, as they are often forgotten. Recommended gifts are $25 gift cards (Amazon, movie theater, Sephora, Target, etc), makeup sets, basketballs, soccer balls, board games, slime kits, lego sets, dolls, and superhero toys.

Toy distribution begins on December 4th to enable us to serve as many families as possible!

Getting Involved to Make Spirits Bright

Don’t have time to shop? You can still make a difference! Visit HCC’s Amazon Wish List and purchase a gift online to be sent directly to the toy drive. This wish list lets you easily donate from anywhere in the world!

If you’d like to do even more, consider hosting a toy drive for donations or volunteer at the event! Help sort donations, wrap gifts, or assist families on distribution day. Sign up to volunteer on our website or contact Lauren at lsullivan@hccfeed1.org if you’d like to host a toy drive with your business, group, church, or organization.

Share the Joy and Make a Difference

Help get the word out about this important event! Share this post, tell others, and follow HCC on Instagram @harvestcompassion to encourage your friends and family to participate. Together, we can ensure disadvantaged children in our community feel the joy of the holidays.

When we give generously to others, we make a lasting impact. Generosity is contagious. When we give, it inspires others in the community to also give back. This holiday season, let’s spread cheer and make spirits bright for local families in need. Join Harvest Compassion Center’s Christmas Toy Drive today!
