Thank you to all of our community toy donors who made it a very special Christmas for hundreds of Valley families! As the holidays approached this year, leaders at HCC knew providing Christmas for one child at a time was even more important than in previous years as we all continue to survive the current pandemic.
“We never promise we’ll have enough toys to go around, we pray and watch as God leads hundreds of community partners to donate toy after toy. Our toy give-away, which involves 23 days of handing out toys to families, is truly amazing and, unlike any other toy distribution in the Valley. Watching a kid’s eyes light up when we bring out a bag of toys just for him/her makes all the long hours worth it!” added Nicolee Thompson, HCC Executive Director.
Last December was our busiest December in ten years. The need continues to grow as COVID-19 affects families and their livelihoods. What a joy it was to deliver over 10,000 toys to local kids!
