AZ Gives Day

COVID-19 WILL NOT SHUT OUR DOORS! Our promise and commitment remains in tact! Our operations have been modified per CDC and Arizona governor’s recommendations, but our IMPACT remains strong!
AZ Gives Day is approaching on April 7 – HCC’s goal is to raise $50,000 on the 7th that will allow all HCC locations to continue to remain fully operational, handing out FREE groceries, hygiene and baby items to families.
Our goal is to triple every dollar donated with several matching partners, allowing YOUR dollar given to make a greater impact during this time of increased demand for our services!
As temporary job loss continues and schools remain close, HCC continues to feed families five days a week.
To keep up with this spike in HCC clients, here’s how you can help!
1) Donate your best gift to Harvest Compassion Center on Tuesday, April 7, between 7 and 8am Power Hour on the AZ Gives Day website (click DONATE button on this page)
2) Share with #AZGivesDay – After you donate any size gift, SHARE your generosity using the Facebook/Twitter icons so others have the same opportunity to feed a family!
There is additional PRIZE/GRANT money that HCC can WIN if we get the most gifts during the 7am (Arizona time) Power Hour
By donating on HCC’s AZ Gives Day profile page we have multiple chances to match your gift! This stretches your dollar further than you going out and braving the crowds to find product to donate. Please let us work smarter and purchase through our regular partner agencies which allows us to bring in triple the product with the highest regard to new safety measures!
Arizona Gives and Arizona Gives Day is a collaboration between the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits and Arizona Grantmakers that began in 2013. This partnership has helped raise more than $17 million for Arizona’s nonprofit sector. This statewide, 24-hour, online giving campaign takes place in early April each year. The program is supported by our presenting sponsor FirstBank, along with a variety of other sponsor organizations.
Arizona Gives helps people find, learn about and contribute to the causes they believe in while enabling nonprofits to share their stories and engage the community through a unique online giving platform. Arizona Gives Day helps raise awareness about Arizona nonprofits and the critical role they play in our communities and state. It inspires people to give generously to nonprofits making our state stronger, creating a thriving community for all.
